House Approves Military Spending

NPR's Brian Naylor reports that the House of Representatives has approved a spending bill that would provide some 13 billion dollars to pay for the military operation in Yugoslavia and other items. The vote in favor was 311 to 105. Just last week, in a mostly partisan vote, the Republican majority rejected a resolution in support of Operation Allied Force. Republican leaders said yesterday's vote demonstrated their support for U.S military forces.
