Spring has sprung, and Weekend Edition Sunday director Ned Wharton presents his CD picks from the new crop: "Chrominance Decoder" by April March (Ideal Records 04881-0010-2), trumpeter Jon Hassell from "The End of Violence" soundtrack (Outpost Recordings OPRD-30007), singer/trumpeter Till Bronner's cd "Love" (Verve 314 559 058-2), Japanese keyboardist Junko Onishi's "Fragile" (Blue Note 7243 4 98108 2 2), "Creature" by United States Three (Flat Earth Records), and "Mixed Emotional Features" by Adam Dorn, aka Mocean Worker (Palm Pictures PALMCD 2011-2).
