Port Huron Alleged School Attack

NPR's Don Gonyea reports from Port Huron, Michigan, a small town northeast of Detroit, on today's preliminary hearing into an alleged plot by four 8th graders to attack their middle school with guns and bombs. Police say the two 14-year-olds and two 13-year-olds were planning to steal guns from their parents, rob a gun store for more weapons, and then attack the school. Authorities say they are taking the allegations very seriously and that the two older boys will be tried as adults on murder conspiracy charges.
