Kansas Abortion Clinic Closes Doors
The Wichita, Kan., clinic run by George Tiller, the doctor who provided late abortions, is permanently closed. Tiller was shot and killed as he volunteered as an usher at his church last month.

And one brief update today in the story of the Kansas doctor, George Tiller, who was murdered last week. The clinic where he performed late abortions is closing permanently. Women's Health Care Services in Wichita was one of the country's few providers of late abortions. The suspect in Tiller's shooting, Scott Roeder, spoke with CNN from jail, and called the closing a victory for all the unborn children. The Center for Reproductive Rights said the closing leaves an immediate and immense void.
