Sierra Leone

Host Bob Edwards talks to Gay McDougall, Executive Director of International Human Rights Law Group, about the eight-year-long civil war in Sierra Leone, in which 600-thousand people have died and one million more have been dislocated. McDougall just returned from a trip to Sierra Leone, as part of a UN Human Rights Commission delegation. She says the atrocities that rebels have committed against civilians are strikingly brutal.
