Medicare Proposal

NPR's Joanne Silberner reports on President Clinton's proposal to reform the Medicare system. It contains a prescription drug plan...it would make it easier to compare managed care health plans...and it would eliminate some out-of-pocket expenses for some common procedures. Various interest groups are weighing in on the proposal, and it's generating concern among different parts of the industry.
