Author Mario Puzo Dies at 78

Best-selling author Mario Puzo dies at the age of 78 in his Long Island home. Puzo's best known work was The Godfather, a book that sold more than 21 million copies. His screenplay based on the book, co-written with Francis Ford Coppola, won two Academy Awards. NPR's Robert Siegel reflects on Puzo's life.
