Boston Racial Suit

NPR's Tovia Smith reports on last night's vote in Boston to end race-based quota systems in the city's schools. Boston is currently being sued by a group of white parents who say white kids are being unfairly discriminated against by the assignment plan. The school superintendent says the odds were against winning the costly lawsuit, given the way similar decisions are being made around the country.
