Kosovo - Rugova

Jennifer Glasse reports that moderate and pacifist ethnic Albanian leader Ibrahim Rugova returned to Kosovo and a warm welcome today despite angry criticism of his role during the Kosovo conflict. Rugova is the unofficially elected president of Kosovo. The welcome showed Rugova still had a loyal following, despite criticism over the past few months from many ethnic Albanians, especially the leadership of the Kosovo Liberation Army.
