Clarence L. Harris died this week. He was 94. In 1960, Mr. Harris managed the lunch counter at Woolworth's store in Greensboro, North Carolina. Four black students sat at his counter to protest segregation. Mr. Harris did nothing. Susan offers some thoughts about his legacy.
