Barak Seeks Peace with Neighbors

NPR's Ted Clark reports on the agreements reached by President Clinton and Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak after five days of meetings in Washington. Barak says he will seek peace agreements with Syria, Lebanon and the Palestinians within a 15-month framework. The president pledged additional security assistance to Israel—on top of the nearly two billion dollars in military aid already provided.
