Democratic Republic of Congo

Host Bob Edwards talks with Salih Booker about the civil war in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Six African nations are involved in the year-long conflict, and talks are now underway in an effort to end it. Congo President Laurent Kabila and the other leaders signed a cease-fire agreement earlier this month, but Congolese rebels hoping to oust Kabila didn't, and fighting continues.
