Kennedy Mass

NPR's Melissa Block reports from New York City about the public and private memorial services honoring John F. Kennedy Junior - his wife Carolyn - and her sister Lauren Bessette. Eight hundred people packed into Old Saint Patrick's Cathedral yesterday for a traditional Irish mass for the three plane crash victims. About one thousand more people listened through loudspeakers outside the cathedral. President Clinton and his wife Hillary will attend this morning's private mass in New York.
