Rock Climbers

Host Bob Edwards talks by satellite phone to three American climbers who are scaling the six-thousand-foot Northwest face of the Great Trango Tower, near Pakistan's border with China. Alex Lowe, Mark Synnott, and Jared Ogden have been on the rock face for 15 days. It's like climbing four and a half Empire State Buildings stacked vertically.
