Moon Experiment

NPR's Richard Harris reports on an experiment that scientists hope will identify whether there is or was water on the moon. The spacecraft Lunar Prospector will finish its 18 months of work orbiting the moon by crashing into a crater that might once have contained water. The presence of water there could be helpful in supporting future life on the moon...or it could be made into fuel for further exploration.
