Reform Party Convention

Martin Kaste of Minnesota Public Radio reports on the Reform Party's annual convention, which was held over the weekend in Dearborn, Mich. Delegates elected Jack Gargan as the party's new chairman. Gargan said that founder Ross Perot should not be the party's presidential candidate next year, and, he said, Minnesota Gov. Jesse Ventura deserves a more prominent role in shaping the party.
