Rebuilding Kosovo

NPR's Tom Gjelten reports on some of the urgent problems that confront the United States and its European allies in trying to rebuild post-war Kosovo. Among the highest priorities are to find and defuse landmines and unexploded bombs, and to reduce tensions between Kosovo Serbs and Kosovo Albanians. Secretary of State Albright visits Kosovo on Thursday, and President Clinton will attend a conference on Balkan stability in Sarajevo, Bosnia on Friday.
