Galapagos Islands

Nancy Marshall reports on efforts to preserve the natural wonders of the Galapagos Islands, which are located on the equator, west of South America. The Galapagos provide a unique environment for biological research but are also a popular tourist destination, and that attracts job seekers from Ecuador, which owns the islands.
