National Urban League

NPR's Phillip Martin reports on the annual conference of the National Urban League in Houston. The 89-year-old civil rights organization still does a lot of work in the trenches: finding jobs, finding affordable and adequate housing, providing financial assistance to small businesses. Now it's trying to stay current in a changing social landscape.
