Luthern and Episcopal Church Union

NPR's Mark Roberts reports the Lutheran Church and the Episcopal Church voted to enter an agreement for full communion during the Lutheran Church Convention in Denver. The two churches will fully recognize each other's members and sacraments, exchange ministers and assist in missionary and social service projects. Combined, the churches represent nearly eight million American Protestants.
