Nuclear Waste Dump in North Carolina

Tim Crowley from North Carolina Public Radio reports on the Southeast Compact Commission. The group develops dumps to store low-level nuclear waste from hospitals, power plants and science labs. It was North Carolina's turn to build such a site. However, since the project has gone over budget and is behind schedule, North Carolina is now bailing out of the Commission.
