Gun Control

NPR's Andy Bowers reports that Californians have been pressuring politicians to impose tougher gun-control measures in the two weeks since the shootings at a Jewish day camp in Los Angeles. Last night, the California legislature passed a measure that would restrict the sale of cheap handguns, known as Saturday Night Specials. Governor Gray Davis is expected to sign the bill into law.
