Weimer Exhibit

NPR's Edward Lifson reports on a city-wide cultural exhibition in Weimar (VYE-mahr), Germany. The area has been home to some of the best, and worst, sides of Germany. Some of Germany's greatest poets and composers lived there. The horrors of the Holocaust were lived out at the Buchenwald concentration camp nearby. The exhibition now taking place is bringing up issues about German culture that continues to haunt that nation's citizens.
