AT&T's One Rate Plan

NPR's Jim Zarroli reports on the new pricing plan for long-distance users of AT&T. In exchange for a small monthly charge, callers will be charged seven cents a minute all the time. It works best for those consumers who make a lot of long distance calls every month. It's part of the latest competitive thrust from AT&T, which is battling MCI Worldcomm and Sprint for phone business.
