Prison Hospice

Janet Heimlich visits a prison hospice in Texas, for inmates who are dying from terminal illnesses. The medical staff administers pain medicine and offers counseling to prisoners who are dying. Family members of the prisoners also are allowed frequent visits. The hospice program is one of about 20, which have been set up around the country.
