Norwood-Dingell Bill

NPR's Julie Rovner reports on divisions among Congressional Republicans over legislation that would regulate the practices of managed health care plans. Before the August recess, many Republicans in the House expressed their support for a bipartisan measure, known as the Norwood-Dingell Bill. It provides stronger patient protection than the House Republican leadership wants and stronger patient protection than the Senate bill which passed in July.
