Calif. Budget Issues Could Axe Poison Control Center
California lawmakers vote Wednesday on a Democratic spending plan that's intended to help close the state's $24 billion budget deficit. Passage is doubtful. Gov. Schwarzenegger is prepared to cut programs to help close the budget gap. One program on the chopping block is California's Poison Control System.
