Singer-songwriter Meg Hutchinson, who hails from rural Massachusetts, released her album Come Up Full in 2008. Now with five CDs to her credit, Hutchinson has followed her dream of performing since the age of 8. Her songs garnered praise during the New Artist Showcase at the Kerrville Folk Festival, where she received a New Folk Award for best new artist. She was also co-winner of Mountain Stage's New Song Contest in 2006.

In this set, Hutchinson puts her Come Up Full songs on display and premieres a new tune, "Hopeful Things." Lyrics about life's hardships and the promise of love infuse her songs with optimistic themes, and the hope of overcoming adversity. Misfortune is shuffled aside by the comforts of "Home," and Hutchinson's poetic view of life shines through in "I'd Like To Know," "Seeing Stars" and "Hopeful Things."
