East Timor and the U.N.

NPR's Mike Shuster reports that the United Nations Security Council has authorized the setting up of a multinational force to restore peace and security in East Timor. Talks continue today at the U.N. to decide on technical matters such as the composition of the force, rules of engagement and command structure.
