East Timor

NPR's Michael Sullivan reports on the preparation in East Timor for the arrival of U.N. peacekeeping troops. A multinational U.N.-authorized force is due to begin deployment over the weekend. Australian Major-General Peter Cosgrove will lead the force, arriving in East Timor tomorrow to discuss the peaceful withdrawal of Indonesia's military.
