San Bernadinon Election

NPR's Robert Smith reports from San Bernadino, California, on the special election tomorrow to fill the seat left vacant this summer when long-time Democratic Congressman George Brown died. Brown's widow, Marta Marcias Brown is running but faces tough challenges from fellow Democrat Joe Baca, a state senator, and by Republican Elia Pirrozzi. The election is receiving national attention because the five-seat Republican hold on the House of Representatives is so tenuous.
