Pastrana Seeks U.S. Aid

NPR's Tom Gjelten reports that Andres Pastrana, President of Colombia, spoke yesterday at the United Nations General Assembly about his plans to end guerrilla warfare in his country. President Clinton will meet with Pastrana who is seeking U.S. aid to facilitate a new counter-narcotics program he outlined.
