East Timor

The Indonesian military formally hands over control of East Timor tomorrow to UN- backed peacekeeping troops. Military leaders say they have the capital of Dili pretty much under control, but they still don't control every street or the countryside Forces trying to block independence are still torching houses and buildings. NPR's Eric Weiner reports from Dili.
