Nineteen seventy-nine was the year that Michael Jackson released the album Off the Wall. It was also the year that Sony released the Walkman. Thirteen-year-old Scott Campbell of the United Kingdom swapped his iPod for the original Walkman for one week.

He speaks with host Scott Simon about the switch.
