The Mathematics of Birds

Host Scott Simon speaks with "math guy" Keith Devlin, dean of sciences at St. Mary's College in Moraga, California, about how migrating birds always seem to manage to find their way to their winter homes. Devlin is convinced it's because they're natural mathematicians.
