Radical Animal Rights Group

Monica Brady of member station WBUR reports from Boston on a series of threatening letters sent to researchers at Harvard University and elsewhere around the country, where monkeys and other primates are used in biomedical experiments. The letters are rigged with razor blades to cut the fingers of those who open them. The radical animal rights group taking responsibility for the threatening letters calls itself, "The Justice Department." The letters are postmarked Las Vegas.
