Kip Kinkel

Nancy Solomon reports the case of Kip Kinkel, the young man sentenced for killing his parents and some of his classmates. His defense has raised the issue of his mental state — which in turn raises questions of whether prison is appropriate place for him and in general spotlights the uncomfortable relationship between mental illness and the legal system.
