Budget Agreement Reached

NPR's Peter Kenyon reports that after ten days of negotiating, the White House and GOP lawmakers have finally reached a deal on the spending bill. The agreement was reached last night, when the White House agreed to a Republican-proposed across-the-board cut as long as federal agencies have flexibility in carrying it out.
