Noah speaks with Alan Hedge, a Professor of Ergonomics at Cornell University. Hedge has observed employees working on assembly lines, at supermarkets check out counters, at construction sites, and computer workstations, and has made recommendations to help prevent injury from repetitive stress. He says most of the companies he deals with want to fix the problems.
