NPR's Wade Goodwyn has a report tensions between two teen cliques in Amarillo, Texas that led to the death of one young man, and a split in the community. Amarillo is a conservative Texas panhandle town. Kids who've chosen to rebel, hanging with a crowd known as the "punks" — as in "punk rockers" — have found themselves in conflict with the "preps."
