NPR's Julie Rovner reports that hospitals, nursing homes and home health care providers are relieved that Congress added $17 billion to Medicare spending in the budget deal, which Congress approved at the end of last week. That amount is but a fraction of the $200 billion in reduced Medicare spending, which resulted from budget cuts put into place two years ago.
