History of Hip-Hop

Yolanda Perdomo from member station WCPN reports on the first-ever retrospective of hip-hop music, now on exhibit at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in Cleveland. It was 20 years ago this month that hip-hop music appeared on the charts for the first time, and it has had an undeniable impact on the popular culture of today. The exhibit includes some of the early influences on the music.
