Rooftop Gardens

NPR's Cheryl Corley reports on an innovative effort to reduce temperatures in urban areas - which on average are 8-degrees hotter than temperatures in the countryside. The higher temperatures lead to greater pollution and higher energy costs. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is hoping to cool things off by planting gardens on the roofs of some city buildings.
