War Crimes: The Khmer Rouge

As part of a special series on war crimes in our times, NPR's Anne Garrels reports from Pnom Penh, Cambodia on how people in that country are reckoning with their past. More than a million Cambodians died under the Khmer Rouge regime that ruled the country between 1975 and 1979. Many Cambodians want to see surviving Khmer leaders put on trial, but so far that has not happened.
