A Love Affair With The Romance Novel

Times are tough in American publishing. There's the growing cost of publication and distribution, and new competition for attention from online readers. Despite the downturn, one kind of story is still selling better than many other forms of adult fiction.

Host Scott Simon tries to find the right words for love when he visits the Romance Writers of America Conference in Washington, D.C. Simon speaks with romance novelist Nora Roberts and shares his own love story for critique by Carrie Feron, vice-president and executive editor at Harper Collins.
