With lead actor Tom Hanks, writer Stephen King and the crew of the Shawshank Redemption behind the camera, the new movie The Green Mile is banking on its pedigree to draw in holiday crowds. That's too bad, says critic Bob Mondello, because the film doesn't live up to its breeding.
