Japan & N. Korea Begin Talks

NPR's Eric Weiner reports that diplomatic talks between Japan and North Korea are scheduled to begin today in Beijing. The talks were expected to cover food aid to North Korea, but one area of contention is the Japanese allegation that North Korean agents kidnapped several Japanese civilians in the 70's and 80's. North Korea continues to deny the charges.
