The Violence We Ignore
Earlier this month, football star Steve McNair was shot dead by his girlfriend in an apparent murder-suicide. In a recent article for The Baltimore Sun, co-author Ned Holstein points out that many news sources failed to mention that this was a tragic case of domestic violence, in which the male was the victim. Holstein talks about his article, "The Violence We Ignore," and why cases of men victimized by their wives and girlfriends are often overlooked.
