On December 17th, the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra played in Havana, the first time in 40 years a professional American orchestra has played in Cuba. NPR's Performance Today recorded the event, and for one of that show's producers, it was a special homecoming. Liane Hansen speaks with NPR's Laura Bertran, who emigrated from Cuba with her family when she was nine.
