Indian Airlines Highjacking

NPR's Michael Sullivan reports that hijackers of an Indian Airlines plane with 160 hostages on board have extended their deadline for the release of an Islamic cleric. Five hijackers seized the plane on Friday during a flight from Katmandu, Nepal, to New Delhi. The hijackers have killed one passenger and threaten to kill more if their demands are not met.
